NovareAccelerated Studies in Physics & Chemistry (ASPC) is the first course in theNovare Science High School Accelerated Pathway, which takes a physics-firstapproach to science. ASPC includes a full Physics course, similar to the Novare IntroductoryPhysics, butcompletes the physics in roughly 6 months, allowing students to studyintroductory Chemistry. Upon completion of this course, students are wellprepared to take Chemistry for Accelerated Students

Novare employs amastery approach to learning science where students are taught how to learn, master, and retain what they learn. A curriculum that uses this approach coversfewer topics and covers them more deeply. This text also integrates learning bycombining skills in the areas of science, math, science history, and Englishlanguage usage. This text is written from a Biblical worldview and seeks tohelp students see God’s work in the world. Though designed from a creationistperspective, the author holds to the view that the world is billions of years oldand teaches current science theory.

Required resources include the Accelerated Studies in Physics and ChemistryStudent Edition, Digital Resources, Experiments for Introductory Physics and ASPC, and the Solutions Manual. Optional, butrecommended is the Student Lab Handbook. There is no Lab Kit, but the convenient Introductory Physics Lab Kit contains most of the supplies forfive of the experiments, which are completed in this course and the Novare IntroductoryPhysics.
